mason3d.com Blog Just another WordPress weblog 2010-01-07T15:17:09Z WordPress http://mason3d.com/blog/feed/atom/ Administrator <![CDATA[Heli Flyer updates!]]> http://mason3d.com/blog/?p=28 2010-01-07T15:17:09Z 2010-01-07T15:17:09Z Heli Flyer has been updated!! Now the helicopter is much more responsive to inputs. Also, we now have Mode1 support. So now all those people who fly with Mode1 can fly with ease.
TIP:
If your having difficulty flying, or find the helicopter too quick for your reflexes, go to the advanced tab and slowly raise the weight of the helicopter. Making the heli heavier will help slow it down so you can gain control.

Happy Flying!

It will not be approved until around mid august but, I’m glad to have it complete. Heli Flyer is a game that teaches you how to fly r/c helicopters at three different flying fields. You start out on “Easy” mode and as you get better the flying becomes more realistic when you go to more difficult modes. For the pro flyer, you can go straight to advanced mode and set it up the way you like it.

Here’s a video of it in action:

So, I started one today! This will be a resource for those who are interested in iphone game development and 3d modeling and rendering in Zbrush and Maya. Often times when working on my own projects I will search and search on the internet for an answer to something and end up figuring it out on my own. I always plan to host my results somewhere but never do. Now, I have an excuse to contribute to the internet community and hopefully be some help to those with similar interests to mine.
