Excellent rc heli sim. This is helping loads with my nose-in practice. Thanks for writing and publishing it.

Please can I make one suggestion for a future update. Due to the fact that the iphone screen doesn't really simulate real sticks very well I am having trouble controlling the throttle. I can get the heli to a stable hover and apply varous cyclic (roll and pitch) inputs. However when I then try to apply some yaw to turn the tail, my throttle input always seems to change and the heli rises or sinks accordingly (sometimes a bit too fast). Obviously on a real rc transmitter it is a lot easier to keep the throttle in a fixed position whilst applying yaw. On the iphone your finger can never accurately stay on the same horizontal plane.

Could you think of a way to effectively lock the throttle in one position whilst allowing continuous yaw input. Maybe an on-scrren button to lock/unlock the throttle or perhaps to greatly reduce its sensitivity whilst trying to perform accurate yaw inputs.

Thanks once again.

Hey I downloaded your app... It's amazing. I was the first to leave feedback for you and gave it a nice 5 star rating. I wanted to see if there is a better way of contacting you regarding recommendations and ideas for future updates.

Again it's amazing, thanks for your hard work.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!... for releasing this on the App Store. You just made my year! I was hoping a company would develop a true RC Sim for the iphone. I would have paid more for this app!

Some thoughts after playing it for a day...
- It would be great to have a very thin outline where the extreme throws are of the right stick which will help train my brain where the center of the right stick is. A center point would not help btw because my thumb would be over it all the time but a very thin dotted outline circle of the extreme stick positions would give me a visual reference for where the center is at. Optional toggle on/off.

- related the the above suggestion... have a vertical dotted line going up the screen centered on the left stick so that you know where the center position of the tail is at. Optional toggle on/off.

- Any chance of a future version for a very nimble/powerful heli. I would love to be able to do some very fast tick tocs. Or was this already tested and the control/touch scheme has too much latency to implement anything more nimble that what we have now?

- An auto-recover mode for people new to rc helis where they can just release their thumbs from the screen to have the heli auto-correct to a stable upright position. Make it an option switch.

- Wind

- Maybe create a pro version with all the features listed here plus more pro type options. I would easily pay for a pro version too.

Btw... I am xStatiCa on the forums(runryder, helifreak, rcgroups, etc).

Mason,

It was fun to see you at the wedding. I asked about your work, and I'd like to see your 3d media. In exchange I'll send you links to my online wedding video progressive download media.
